Guerilla Bass / Deviant Signal

May 22, 2026

It took a while, but here are my ten picks. I wanted to share some gems that I feel are underrated or maybe not well known. Let me know what ya'll think!

MAC-V — Starting off with the Guerilla Boss who delivers a hypnotic Amen blaster guaranteed to set shit off. Not one of his best known tunes, but highly recommended if you dig that hyper aggressive Amen driven sound.

Infest — Guerilla brotherman Infest be like: "So you like Amens? Hold my 0.0!" One of my top 3 tunes of 2025 but IMO criminally underrated and underplayed. Help make Amens great again and play it!

Andy Skopes — Next, someone who will always be remembered for two legendary releases (UM013 & METHXX015) but for me will always remain one of the biggest lost talents in Jungle. I prefer this tune, but be sure to check "Seance" from the other label as well! Both releases are played at a minimum once every year by lots of people myself included to celebrate the music and to remember the man. RIP Andy Skopes

S.Kid is another connaisseur of the Amen heavy Jungle. All his releases are quality, but this one contains a sample from a legendary Gabber tune (The Dreamer by Lenny Dee) so I gravitate towards this because nostalgia.

Slider & Expose — Never heard of them before this tune so this was quite the first impression. Also an older, relatively unkown or unplayed tune, but guaranteed to annihilate dancefloors and have people going "wtf was that tune ffs?!" Absolute Amen choppage killer which I played heavily for years.

Dreadmaul — NGL, I'm a big Dreadmaul stan but I wish he made more of these actual Jungle tunes. Don't get me wrong, I also devour his Halftime stuff but for me this is what a Jungle tune actually sounds like and therefore I use it as a reference tune to explain what makes a Jungle tune Jungle. There's also a VIP version, but the OG is the way to go IMO. So Dreadmaul, if by any chance you read this: I need MORE of those Jungle licks chief!

Jesta coming in hot with "Neighbor Tester 3.0" because that sub WILL be noticed and felt depending on your choice of residence. IMO also a tune which perfectly illustrates the principle of less is more and why "simple" tunes are generally more effective. In short, this is exactly the kind of tool Guerillas are always looking for.

Jesta & Park Shadow — For me top 3 release in 2024. This sounds like a sci-fi or horror movie. I love everything about it from the breaks to the eerie samples. A testament to the magic that happens when you bring like minded and skilled people together... also, Park Shadow is one to watch and you can quote me on that.

Harmony & Orca — This might be the biggest surprise tune of 2026... have either Harmony or Orca made such a dark tune? Please DM me if you know any examples of it if it exists. Absolutely disgusting tune, the darkness is so dense you can just touch it. So Harmony and/or Orca, if you read this: WE NEED MORE OF THOSE PLZ!

Overlook & Karim Maas — UVB-76 crew really nailing the name for this monster of a tune. Slowly building that oppressive atmosphere until it just erupts in pandemonium, not for the faint of heart! The dread, the sense of panic and impendig doom... I absolutely love it. If you dig this, be sure to check "After Hours" by Overlook which to me sounds like a more dancefloor oriented version of this.
