Jazz, funk, blues — that's where Danny Fox comes from. The first time he heard jungle at a party, something clicked: the groove was all there, but wilder, faster, with electric bass that hit different and rhythms that kept shifting under your feet. He was hooked. Dub and breakbeat followed naturally.

Originally from the UK, Danny now lives in the Netherlands with his wife and baby. By day he holds down a serious (if underpaid) job; by night he's a producer across many genres — currently deep in a rap-musical project, while simultaneously studying jazz theory and learning to mix on two vinyl decks. The record collection is still growing.

Track 4 is his own. D Fox — Brite on Beach was written after a wild drum & bass night in Brighton at a club called Volks, which rolled into a morning on the beach. The title says it all.
