Strong-willed, sweet and mischievous in a little coat with an adorable face, that’s Rakkie. The original Nuttah, the face of Jungle Kitten, and Caylie’s biggest fan.

Caylie: “He was the first I was able to give my last name to when I adopted him 11 years ago from another family because their son had developed an allergy. Rakkie has always been wonderfully stubborn and playful. Even now, at 12 years old, he can still play and mess around as if he were a kitten. And yet, despite his mischief and affectionate nature, I couldn’t have wished for a sweeter cat. He sleeps next to me every night and waits for me at the front door every day when I come home, then starts meowing loudly. Even as I try to write this, he attempts to climb onto my lap and looks at me as if to say, ‘Mom, could you move that laptop for a moment?’

We’ve been through a lot together, with ups and downs. But it has always been worth it, because every day I receive so much love from him. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, and perhaps handle some things differently if I could go back. Still, for now, I feel incredibly happy with him.”

That’s why it was only a logical and easy choice to crown him as the Jungle Kitten logo, because with his strong-willed personality, he truly fits the values of Jungle Kitten!
